Turning Surplus into Support: GGMS Donates 165 Items to CompTTEC Charity

We’re proud to support CompTTEC in their mission and look forward to continued collaboration that delivers real-world impact—for people and the planet.

At GGMS, we are proud to share our recent donation of 165 surplus items to CompTTEC, a UK charity working to tackle digital poverty through education, skills training, and access to technology.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to embedding circular economy principles at the heart of our operations—delivering both environmental impact and social value.

CompTTEC collaborates with schools, community organisations, and individuals to break down barriers to digital inclusion. By repurposing high-quality Equipment, Furniture, Fittings, Components & Materials (EFFC&M), our donation will help create inclusive, functional learning spaces where they are needed most.

“I cannot thank you enough for the donation and for organising the delivery successfully. We at CompTTEC are immensely grateful for the work you do to assist charities such as ourselves.”

This partnership ensures valuable assets are diverted from waste streams and put to meaningful use—extending the lifecycle of materials, reducing landfill, and directly supporting community-focused programmes.

Since 2020, GGMS has processed over 450,000 items and helped save more than 11,000 tonnes of CO₂e, enabling organisations to align with sustainability goals through data-driven, tech-enabled reuse strategies.
